Feeding Directions
- Foals and Weanlings
- Feed 50-100 grams (1-2 scoops) per day top dressed on horse’s grain mix.
- Yearlings and Older Horses
- Feed 100 grams (2 scoops) per day top dressed on horse’s grain mix.
- Performance Horses
- Feed 100-200 grams (2-4 scoops) per day top dressed on horse’s grain mix during training and competition.
- Broodmares
- Feed 100-200 grams (2-4 scoops) per day top dressed on horse’s grain mix beginning at least 30 days prior to breeding and continuing until at least 60 days after breeding.
- Stallions
- Feed 400-500 grams (8-10 scoops) per day top dressed on horse’s grain mix beginning 30-45 days prior to breeding and continuing throughout breeding season. (This provides 14.5-18 grams of DHA per day).
- All Horses
- Provide good quality hay and/or pasture, salt and water free choice.
